On Friday, February 5, 2016, Robinson Elementary School was awarded the Challenge Award for 3rd Grade Reading Achievement on the 2015 state assessments. The Confidence in Education Task Force administers the Challenge Awards program, which recognizes Kansas schools that are making a notable difference in student achievement despite facing significant challenges in their school population. The 3rd grade class at Robinson Elementary was one of the eight 3rd grade groups from across the state of Kansas to receive this award. The third grade classes are taught by Mrs. Katie Crowdis and Mrs. Leah Meckel. Way to go, Roadrunners!
