Fly High Award:

We are very thankful for this month’s Fly High Award recipients:

Mr. Bryce Westphal, AMS Science Teacher

Mr. Westphal is an exceptional teacher who goes above and beyond to plan engaging learning opportunities for our students. Mr. Westphal brought a mobile planetarium to the middle school for all of his students and planned an after school stargazing event for 8th graders and their families. 

Mr. Mike Farmer – Garfield Evening Custodian

Mr. Farmer is always willing to help out and go above and beyond for ideas the teachers may have. He builds storage for classrooms, tables, stools, and even a trebuchet to help drive home a Science lesson for students. He never gets upset with the amount of glitter in some classrooms and helps get our school ready for the next day.
