New partnership creates pathway for students who want more flexibility

AUGUSTA, KS — Augusta School District and OpenEd have launched an innovative partnership that expands opportunities within public education. The program provides Kansas families a combination of trusted curricula and guidance with room for flexibility and customization to fit the needs of each student.

The program, launching for K-8 students, represents an innovative approach to student-centered learning within public education. Students will be fully enrolled in Augusta School District while gaining opportunities to learn in ways that match their individual interests and needs. "By combining our district's educational expertise with flexible learning approaches, we're creating new ways for students to flourish. This program demonstrates how public schools can innovate to serve diverse learning styles while maintaining high academic standards."
